World Around Us Challenge

11th May

This week we are going to learn about the Water Cycle.

The water cycle is the continuous journey water takes from the sea, to the sky, to the land and back to the sea. The movement of water around our planet is vital to life as it supports plants and animals.  Water changes as it moves through the cycle.

Watch this short clip to help you understand.

We are going to have a go at making our own Water Cycle in a bag.

You need just a few common household items to create your water cycle.

  • Plastic zip lock-style bag
  • Permanent marker(s)
  • Water
  • Blue food coloring
  • Clear tape
