Welcome to Primary 5!
Your teacher will very soon be filling this page with exciting class news, pictures of things we’ve done and more.
Do you have any ideas for this page? Why not let your Teacher know!
School Work- All work activities will be posted on Class Dojo and the school website at the beginning of each week. A planner will be posted on Mondays with an outline of what we are covering that week. Try to complete the work for each day in a notebook/ paper. Whoever looks after you at home, should try to test your spellings and mental maths on a Friday.
Reading- We will focus on reading for enjoyment over the coming weeks. You can access books via NI Libraries online for FREE. Or if you have your own books at home, you can read these too. Try and read aloud with an adult regularly and talk about the story.
Marking- Answers to mental maths will be posted on Class Dojo on Fridays for you to mark yourself.
Support- We will be available to message from 9-11am every weekday to answer queries related to school work. If you are able to, try to stay in contact with your friends.
Doodle Apps- Please continue to use Doodle Maths, Doodle Tables, Doodle English and Doodle Spell at least 3 times per week. I can view your progress and add extra activities related to what you are learning that week. If you need your log in details, let me know.
Last week of term - 22nd June
This week there is no planner but instead we have some fun activities for pupils to complete. There are some Time Capsule activities linked to Covid -19 and also an end of school year memories worksheet. Thankyou for all your efforts with home learning.
Remember to collect your child's report and other belongings on Wednesday 24th June. Thankyou!
HOME LEARNING WB 15th June
As we are nearing the end of term we are not putting on a full week's planner to follow. Instead, this week we would like pupils to complete a fun Multiplication Mosaic, work on their Air, Wind and Flight projects and continue with the Doodle Maths and Doodle English apps. Keep on reading too!
